Maharaja Jai Singh was not contented with the errors of brass and metal instruments. He revised the astronomical observations with reliable instruments.

This 18th century observatory comprises of heavy instruments to determine the movements of celestial bodies, including the Samrat Yantra, Ram Yantra, Jaiprakash Yantra and the Misra Yantra.
