by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1569, and is famous for its

Tomb of Saint Sheikh Salim Chishti is another remarkable
building located here. The tomb was built in 1570, at
the location where the renowned Sufi saint Sheikh Salim
Chisti had his hermitage and had sat in meditation during
his lifetime. Akbar was an ardent devotee of the Sheikh.
