Travel to Agra

The medieval Indian city of Agra is one of the most attractive tourist locations in India. From royal splendor of Mughal fort to the serenity of Taj Mahal and from the lavish Diwan-I-Khas to the highly revered tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti, there are many locations to explore, numerous things to do, and myriad of opportunities to experience the irresistible charm of this attractive city. Travel to Agra on 12th and 13th day of the Rajputana Experience Tour and enjoy full day sightseeing of this beautiful city.

Travel to Agra Fort, built by Akbar in Red Sandstone. Later on many of the structures inside the fort were added by his successors like Jahangir and Shahjahan. Important buildings available inside the Agra Fort include Diwan-I-Khas, Diwan-I-Am, Jahangiri Mahal, Mussamman Burj, Sheesh Mahal, Moti Masjid, and many more.

Travel to Taj Mahal, the splendid monument of eternal love. Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, also known as Khurram, in the memory of his beloved wife and queen Mumtaz Mahal (Arjumand Bano Begum)

Travel to Sikandara, where the mausoleum of Akbar the Great is located. Though the architectural design and specifications were chosen by Akbar himself, but he could not complete the structure during his lifetime. It was his son and successor Jahangir, who completed the construction of this last abode of one of the greatest Indian rulers.
